"I am an 84 year old man and now have to do my own cooking. I saw this peeler on a TV cook show and decided to buy. It is amazing how quickly and thin it peels tomatoes, potatoes, asparagus, celery, etc. I have since given four of these as gifts and they were all received with raves. It deserves a strong five star rating!" - Ken B., TX

Best peeler I've found. Peels fruits and veg easily, only a slight amount of effort is needed. Seems sturdy and is extremely sharp. Goid quality for a plastic peeler. I'd recommend it. I am a Chef in a bust kitchen, this peeler is used multiple times daily with consistent results.

My life is forever changed. I thought I needed a spiralizer, but they looked big and complex and frankly - time consuming to clean. What I really wanted one for is making matchstick carrots. I love matchstick carrots in stir frys and salads but buying them in the bags is not cost effective. So I bought this and it's everything I wanted and more. Want zoodles? This will do it! Quickest clean up ever.
Just used it for the first time and am pleased and impressed with its performance. You can use it, pulling away from you, which was important to me. It made long, well shaped, positively elegant noodles (zucchini and carrots) in very short order. Matchstick width. And it kept going, right through the seeded core of a zucchini. There was almost nothing left when the core finally broke. If you don't need large quantities, this will do very well instead of a spiralizer. Neat and compact, it can be stored in a drawer.
I do a lot of work in the kitchen and this little peeler has turned out to be a real time-saver and as described. I make about 20-30 pints of salsa annually, which requires the tomatoes to be peeled. While I could peel them using the par-boil method, it's not a great method for me in my small kitchen. The serrated edge of this peeler gives it a grip into the slick tomato skins that works beautifully and quickly to make peeling tomatoes and other fruits with challenging skins, such as mangoes, a breeze. Mine worked so well, I immediately bought one for my mother, who asked me why I hadn't bought this for her long ago! I cannot recommend it highly enough!
I ordered this julienne peeler because I thought I would prefer this angle of peeling (it's used like a potato peeler)--and I do. I can create a full bowl or two of zucchini or cucumber "pasta" with it easily. Any more and I'd be tempted to get a spiralizer, but, being a minimalist, I love this gadget. Quick delivery & great price, too!
This little peeler is life-changing. Okay, maybe not life-changing, but it's a pretty fantastic addition to my kitchen tool arsenal. The tiny little serrations do a brilliant job of peeling very delicate things like ripe peaches and tomatoes without hacking up the fruit or taking off too much below the skin. I still use the traditional method of peeling (scoring and blanching for ~60 seconds or so) when I have a lot of them to do, but if I'm just preparing one or two fruits, this peeler is perfect.
Sharp and works great, easy to handle. It is nice to treat yourself to a few new kitchen gadgets once in a while. You forget how sharp a brand new blade can be, and how much easier it will make your work. I have to remember to repurchase these things once a year. Just got a new microplane, citrus juicer, some other stuff. Makes a task that much easier.
Love it when I’m dealing with tomatoes. It really does feel the softer skin without having to steam the tomato first. Obviously since it tomato is not as firm as a carrot or potato it still takes a little longer to peel, but worth it when you’re making a tomato dishing you don’t wanna go through that first lengthy step.
