"I honestly really didn't think I needed it, but the wife thought we did. So it turns out she was right, but don't tell her. Every week I clean it and there are 10 or so dead mosquitoes on it. I have only seen 1 or 2 in my house, so its pretty surprising. We keep it indoors by the back door and only run it at night and it still kills those little blood suckers. So I don't have to worry about my kids getting bit in their beds, so its worth it to me and would recommend one even if you don't think you do." - John P., FL

We had problems with one or two mosquitos entering our house through a sliding patio door in the evening when we let our dogs out. We would then wake the next morning and have mosquito bites from head to toe. This bulb has worked wonders! We have not received one mosquito bite since receiving the bulb. I simply replaced an led bulb in a lamp situated near the sliding door, and leave the bulb set to the bug zapper option (blue light) all night. I didn't expect much, but have been very pleased by the outcome. I would highly recommend this for anyone seeking a solution for a indoor mosquito problem.
I really like the light zapper. It gives a brighter light than I thought. I have it on my back patio. The bugs are usually very annoying when I go outside at night. Since I've put it up I can go in my yard and not get bit up. And the company makes contact to ask if you like it and if they may be if further help. I was treated very nicely.
I have had this now for a couple of months and it has done a wonderful job. I have it in a 20x20 greenhouse to eradicate problem bugs. After the first week i took a pic (see below) and was amazed. Didn't realize I had that many bugs in there. Next week same thing. Every week after that same thing. I plan on buying a couple more since this one is doing a great job. Those who complain must not have many bugs cause this one seems to catch everything.
Love this product I have ordered several for my outdoor lights and haven't had a single mosquito in my house ever since
I LIKE THE ZAPPLIGHT, I USE IT IN THE GARAGE, IT WORKS FINE, CLEANED IT OFF THIS MORNING, NICE LED GIVE OFF PLENTY OF LIGHT WITH OUT A LOT OF HEAT. WILL BUY AGAIN!
Every morning I go out and sweep dead bugs from under this light. (Even found a dead stink bug!)
I live in a pretty woodsy area that has plenty of insects. When I came across these bulbs I was intrigued and had to try one. I purchased my first one a few months ago, then my second about a month after. They work as advertised! Very straight forward. It's amazing what people are integrating into light bulbs these days, and I guess it was only a matter of time before these came out.
I use one of these inside and one of them outside. I've been very pleased with the reduction of insects inside my house. As for the one outside, there aren't enough of these bulbs in the world to get rid of all the insects that fly around outside. One thing to note, these bulbs are quite large, so make sure they fit your lamp/fixture they way you want them too. They will stick out.
This light kill bugs by the hundreds. I have to clean it every 3 days. Full of dead bugs. Great product.
Has killed hundreds of bugs since installing, we live in the country and are constantly having to clean it (basically every other day) because it kills so many bugs, and that's just with the blue light, not the full light. Works amazingly well.
Zapperlight works, day one bugs met electric death. Its quiet, no noise that I can tell. I found the best combo is light and zapper at night, blue during the day, or blue all the time. You can switch to just blue zapper mode, which is nice. The light is a very bright light, plenty good for porch light, patio light. Best works with like porch light socket up or down, its odd shape take note before buying that it will fit in your socket. Happy with product. Anything to kill bugs. A++++
I honestly really didn't think I needed it, but the wife thought we did. So it turns out she was right, but don't tell her. Every week I clean it and there are 10 or so dead mosquitoes on it. This is an excellent product, it works exactly as advertised. So far I've had only the infrared light on and it's been killing mosquitoes and flies that make it inside like no-body's business. The bulb is a little big and I had to remove a lampshade to be able to fit it in my interior space, but the fact that it is energy efficient, kills bugs that have been annoyances in my home, and doesn't require much maintenance makes it worth it.
I am in the process of swapping out my outdoor fixtures, and I will be purchasing additional bulbs for my outdoor space as needed.
I don't review often and I actually purchased the Zapplight (2 of them). After using both in my garage for about a week I can say they work and they work extremely well. The light from the main LED is bright enough to fill the entire two car garage and the blue zapper does what it is designed to do. I will be purchasing more in the future so...yeah it is totally worth the purchase.
This light kinda had me skeptical at first, but after finding dead bugs on it, I can say it really does work. I keep mine in my mudroom because these is nothing in-between the mudroom and my living space. So if I find a bug in the mudroom I'll turn on the zapper and slam the door, then the next morning I'll find the poor soul stuck to the bulb, dead. That's exactly what I wanted and couldn't ask for much more. The light is very bright and long-lasting also!
